Why creating and maintaining a page that is only about not fully implemented or thought through or flawed parts within the Lotus Notes/Domino environment.
I am native to this environment and i believe that I have some experience with the development of Notes applications. I tend to check the borders of what is possible and for the last years, especially due to my work with Ulrich Krause the founder of !!HELP!! an open source project over there at www.openntf.org I had to come to the conclusion that the impression that I as a developer have about Notes as a developing tool was again and again bothered by implemented functions that are either erroneous or as mentioned above perhaps not fully thought trough. And that this annoyance is not only mine, but does also take effect with my colleagues and customers every time I have to say “notes is able to do that, but …” coming to the point that they are not amused because of the limits this imposes to me regarding development.
So because the official channels i have into IBM are a little bit indolent about taking those problems serious I will try to show those errors and faults that have an impact on the development of Notes databases in detail.
